EduBox Academy delivered an Introduction to Microsoft Excel workshop at Akademi Pengajian Melayu, Universiti Malaya, on 4 June 2023.
Fifty final-year Malay Studies students attended the workshop. The session introduced practical Excel knowledge to help prepare them for professional work.
Industry trainers demonstrated functions, formulas and tools that support data analysis and presentation, introducing skills students could apply after graduation.
After an introduction to the agenda, interactive demonstrations explained the Excel interface and ways to enter, organise and work with data.
Hands-on exercises allowed students to try the techniques in realistic situations. Discussions and questions helped reinforce their understanding and build confidence.
A closing quiz checked participants’ understanding of the material and encouraged them to review what they had learned.
EduBox Academy Managing Director Asyraf welcomed the students’ enthusiasm. He highlighted the academy’s commitment to helping students develop practical abilities such as Excel proficiency.
Participants finished with a stronger Excel foundation and greater confidence in working with data. The workshop supported the university’s efforts to prepare students for professional life.
