EduBox Academy delivered Autodesk Civil 3D for Roadworks & Earthworks training at Akademi Binaan Malaysia (ABM) Sarawak from 8 to 10 November 2022. The three-day programme developed participants’ practical software skills.
Fifteen professionals attended, working with experienced trainers on tasks ranging from project-template setup to real-time animation.

The programme explored Civil 3D’s applications in infrastructure design and construction, with a focus on the tools used for roadworks and earthworks.
Training Agenda Highlights
Across three days, participants progressed from foundational concepts to more advanced techniques through the following agenda.
Day 1: Building the Foundation
Day one introduced the interface, project templates, survey-data management and the creation of original ground-level surfaces.
Day 2: Designing and Crafting
The next stage covered alignments, corridors, volume calculations and real-time animation, followed by drawing production and reporting.
Day 3: Advanced Techniques and Beyond
The final day addressed intersections, roundabouts, road widening and platform design. Participants also explored grading, cut-and-fill calculations and existing ground-level surfaces.
Earning the Badge of Expertise
Participants who completed the programme received Autodesk Certificates of Completion for the Civil 3D Roadworks & Earthworks training.
