EduBox Academy delivered Microsoft Word Intermediate training for 25 selected JaPen staff from branches across Malaysia on 21 February 2022. The one-day programme took place at Jabatan Penerangan Malaysia under the Kementerian Komunikasi & Digital (KKD).
Participants developed a wider understanding of Word’s features and their application to professional document work.
Training Highlights
The one-day agenda addressed participants’ needs through the following chapters.
Module 1: Program Fundamentals & Getting Started
The opening module introduced Word’s environment and core functions.
Module 2: Working with and Editing Text
Text-editing exercises covered manipulation, navigation and efficient ways to work within documents.
Module 3: Formatting Characters and Paragraphs
Character and paragraph formatting helped participants organise documents and improve their presentation.
Module 4: Formatting the Page
Page-formatting work covered layouts, margins and orientation for clearer professional documents.
Module 5: Working with Themes and Styles
Themes and styles demonstrated ways to keep document formatting consistent.
Module 6: Working with Shapes and Pictures and SmartArt
Participants learnt to add graphical elements that support the presentation of information.
Module 7: Working with Tables
Table exercises introduced methods for presenting data clearly and systematically.
Module 8: Mailing Documents
The final section explored ways to mail and share documents while preserving their content.
Training Achievement
Participants received a Certificate of Participation from the Kementerian Komunikasi & Digital. The programme supported JaPen’s development of a workforce with stronger digital skills.
